Hi thanks for visiting the rebuilt site. As part of the revamp process I found myself looking back and was shocked to discover I had been making quaichs for over 10 years. Where does the time go?
I started making quaichs commercially in 2007, I remember joking that once I had made 1000 quaichs I could call myself a “time served” quaich maker. Looking back over the books I see passed that particular milestone in 2013.
Since 2010 I have been based in Ardgay up here in beautiful South East Sutherland.
My quaichs have slowly evolved in style over this time, but they are still very much inspired by the earliest simple wooden cups so strongly associated with Scotland and her traditional hospitality. So please feel free to browse the shop.
I should point out each quaich is made to order and so you should allow about seven to ten days from purchase. I do usually keep a small stock for emergencies so if you’re panicking about a “last minute” order send me an email and I’ll do my best.
